Situated close to the city centre, the ambitious new development of Gorkogo Park along its length marks the street in the city. Noticeable not only for its size and scale, but also from its contemporary character and modern form, this project was the first mixed-use development in Kiev, Ukraine.
Three high-rise reinforced concrete residential blocks have 27 floors and 118.50 m height. The shopping centre is the heart of the project taking advantage of natural light to create a feeling of openness in the interior, like a traditional galleria.
- These blocks were constructed by steel frames with R/C walls.
- The slabs were constructed as R/C with mesh on steel decks.
- The 6 basement floors of the building was constructed by top-down method.
- All of the structural calculations were performed according to Russian SNIP and EUROCODE norms.
