Consultancy Services for Retrofitting Design of Selected Public Buildings in Istanbul (EIB-CB1.3A)
This project, funded by a European Investment Bank loan as part of the ISMEP Project, has undertaken vulnerability assessments and prepare preliminary and final structural retrofitting designs, including consideration of non-structural elements, architectural, mechanical and electrical designs, cost estimates, bills of quantities, specifications, tender documents and provide an overview synthesis of the feasibility of the program in terms of technical, economical criteria for the selected public buildings consisting of 62 schools, 10 polyclinics, 35 healthcare facilities and 1 Hospital, 5 administrative buildings having total area of 390.000 m² located in the province of Istanbul.
Prota provided following services:
- Seismic vulnerability assessments
- Preparation of preliminary and final structural retrofitting designs, including consideration of non-structural elements, architectural, mechanical and electrical designs,
- Cost estimates, bills of quantities, specifications, tender documents and,
- Feasibility of the retrofitting program in terms of technical, economical criteria for the selected public buildings located in the province of Istanbul.
