Prota Designed Elbistan State Hospital Is Under Construction
Structural design of Kahramanmaraş Elbistan State Hospital was completed by Prota in 2014. The hospital will have a total of 300 bed capacity and will be located in Karaelbistan region of Kahramanmaraş, Turkey.
Kahramanmaraş Elbistan State Hospital is designed by using base isolation system with a total of 455 numbers of FPS isolators (FIP-D series). The hospital will comprise of seven blocks, namely A-B-C-D-E-F-G blocks. Blocks A and B are the single and independent building blocks. They have their independent mat foundations. Blocks of C-D-E and F-G are designed in between the levels of -4.50 and ±0.00 at the isolator floor.
With its extraordinary architecture and building geometry, the hospital is in the construction phase which is being performed by KLV Construction INC. All the construction works of the hospital are planned to be completed by the second half of 2016.
